By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PlantKeeper (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PlantKeeper is an AI-powered mobile application that helps users identify plants, understand visible plant health signals, create plant profiles, track care history, and receive informational care guidance. The App may provide:

• Plant identification and photo-based health analysis
• Possible issue detection for water, light, pests, disease, and care risks
• Health scores, recovery plans, reminders, and plant journals
• Premium AI insights and advanced care features

3. Informational Guidance Only

PlantKeeper provides informational plant care guidance based on available inputs and AI analysis. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for every plant or environment.

The App does not replace professional horticultural advice. For serious plant disease, pest infestation, toxic plant concerns, high-value plants, or safety issues, consult a qualified professional.

4. User Accounts

Certain features may require an account, such as Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Features

The App may offer limited free functionality, such as basic plant scans or starter care guidance.

5.2 Premium Subscription

Premium features may be available through paid subscriptions, including monthly or yearly plans.

• Subscriptions may include a free trial for eligible users
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
• Upload malicious content or content you do not have the right to use
• Use automated systems to access the App in a way that burdens our services
• Misrepresent AI outputs as professional advice or guaranteed outcomes

7. User Content

You retain ownership of plant photos, notes, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, store, transmit, and display your content as needed to provide and improve the App, including AI analysis and plant profile features.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, website, branding, features, design, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC PLANTS OR ENVIRONMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, PLANTS, OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
